









We first started work on the Marcus App in early 2019 as a go-to-market servicing app. For this project, I chose a team of 2 designers, one UX/Research focused and the other UI/Prototype focused. We worked with the Product lead and a Platform PM with the goal of delivering the easiest-to-use mobile banking experience in the space. We wanted to create a hi-fi proto to present to leadership within a month, so we mapped out the timeline tied to the nearest sprint, included review sessions, kicked-off and then started ideating and workshopping to decide on MVP features. After competitive app analysis, deeper insights into actions, and quant and qual user testing, we felt confident in its simplicity and function for users. The prototype presentation to leadership created great excitement company-wide. The app continued to iterate and then integrate with a Marcus style guide update in Q4 of 2019.
