Catching the fall vibes inspired an Instagram-experiment called "Minimalist Seasons." The concept is to experience the seasons of the year through color overlays placed on top of every minimal-style image. As the posts progress, month-to-month, you start to see a gradual change from the warm, orangey, leaf-like colors of fall to the lighter whites of winter. Throughout, the posts are stitched together by elements that help tie the flow and story together. So Image 1 sitting directly underneath Image 2 might have an arrow pointing upward, seeping into Post 2, as if to draw a path and make the visual connection. Then, mini-sub-stories start to form, like the 6-post “A Trip To The Guggenheim,” or the community contest, "3-in-3." Ideally, contributors can showcase their minimal images on it as well, so IG'ers can enjoy the incredible work that the minimal community produces. instagram.com/minimalist_seasons
